Feel the rush of adrenaline as you navigate the exhilarating Class II to IV rapids like Ladies Delight and Upset. Lunch at Riverside and more raft down river until late afternoon to pitch tents on a sandy riverbank for the night with evening activities: Campfire, dinner, and cultural exchange with local music and dance. Day 04: Activities: Drive to Pokhara. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch After breakfast, we board the vehicle and set off for another thrilling adventure to Pokhara. A free evening in Pokhara to enjoy the lakeside or go boating in the lake. Overnight Hotel. Day 05: Activities: Trekking to Ghorepani 4-5 hours. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri via Nayapul. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. The trail then continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti at 2250m and further to Nangethanti at 2600m before arriving at Ghorepani (2840m). Ghorepani is a relatively large village with excellent views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri. Overnight at Tea House/Lodge. Day 06: Activities: One hour hike to Poon Hill. Trek to Tadapani (2540 m.) 6-7 hour walk. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner From Ghorepani, we wake up at 5 AM to visit Poon Hill (3210m) for the hike to Poon Hill for the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. An excellent vantage point, Poon Hill provides an unobstructed view of the high Western Himalayas. Here we spend an hour or so before returning back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Leaving Ghorepani, we climb along ridge and through dense alpine and rhododendron forests (blooms in the spring with hues of red and pink) towards Deurali (2960m) before reaching Tadapani. Overnight at local Tea House/Lodges. Day 07: Activities Trekking Tadapani to Ghandruk 5 – 6 hour walk. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Ghandruk is the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary (Base Camp) trek and inhabited by Gurung, one of the major Ethnic groups of Nepal. Ghandruk is a maze of narrow alleyways but is an ideal place to spend an afternoon wandering the streets enjoying the local food or learning about the local handicrafts. Overnight tea House/Lodge. Day 08: Activities: Morning visit to Annapurna Conservation Area Project. Afternoon End Trek drive to Pokhara. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch After wrapping up the visit to ACAP Headquarters', trek downhill through villages and terraced fields to Syauli Bazaar, then onto Nayapul total 4 hours descend walk then (approximate 1½ hours) back to Pokhara.
