Day 01 - Wilson to Maasai Mara.
Our driver guide will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta and transfer you to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide in Maasai Mara for transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax with an afternoon game drive in the famous Maasai Mara.
Game viewing in the Maasai Mara is excellent all year round due to its varied landscapes, wide open spaces, temperate climate, and diverse population of resident game. The area's champagne-colored savannahs are home to safari heavyweights such as lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes, along with more common species including zebras, giraffes, hyenas, elands, and gazelles. Rhinoceros sightings are rare, but these endangered animals may occasionally be seen—if you're lucky—in the Mara Triangle.
Maasai Mara is especially known for offering incredible encounters with large cats, specifically lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Cheetahs are exceptionally suited to the region's flat plains, making this one of the best locations to observe these agile predators. Often perched atop fallen trees, anthills, or even game drive vehicles, watching the world's fastest land mammal hunt its prey is undoubtedly a highlight of any visit here.
