I would like to introduce you to Barcelona Chocolate Tours, the only company in our city that is dedicated to the experience of chocolate, a hidden treasure of Barcelona. Barcelona Chocolate Tours was founded in 2011 out of a passion for chocolate. Prior to this, I visited cacao plantations in Brazil and other countries in Central America and Africa. Upon returning to Barcelona, I got the idea of showcasing Barcelona’s rich tradition of making chocolate with its world-class chocolatiers and incredible chocolate creations. We allow our customers to share in our passion for cocoa—not just through tastings at the finest stores and master kitchens in Barcelona. In fact, it’s a true dual experience: Customers get to sample various intense flavors and exotic blends across an array of chocolates during engaging city tours. With two distinct itineraries, we explore the two main architectural styles found within our vibrant Mediterranean city: the Gothic Quarter and the modernist district, passing iconic structures designed by renowned architects such as Antoni Gaudi. The majority of our 2–3 hour long chocolate tours are private; therefore, they can be tailored specifically to suit each customer or their groups needs. Corporate tours accommodating up to fifteen individuals are available upon request. All chocolate tours operate daily all year round (except Christmas Day).
