FIVE HOUR NEARLY ALL OF DUBLIN TOUR

An inspiring exploration of Dublin’s history from a mere fording point in antiquity, to Viking town, and from colonisation to Independence. This is a Dublin Sightseeing Tour for those who seek a deeper understanding of and connection with Ireland. My most popular tour will bring you on an emotional and memorable journey into the core of who the Irish are. We’ll walk a nice loop of the city centre, taking in every main site (as well as many minor ones) in Dublin. We will visit one of Dublin’s most important cultural institutions (the National Museum). We won’t race to try to see everything. Rather, we’ll take our time so that we can fully experience the significance of each site. As this is a private tour, you can decide what you’d prefer to see, and the experience will be more conversational than academic. I'll regale you with the fascinating history and culture of Dublin and Ireland. You’ll be kept energised and engaged throughout the five hours by the wide variety of topics discussed, and a break for coffee and another one for a meal to punctuate the tour nicely. By the end of the tour, you will have learned what’s the deal with Northern Ireland, how Brexit affects Ireland, how to say something in the Irish language (and the cultural importance of that language), how the Irish won independence, as well as what life is like in Dublin and Ireland today, and what lies ahead for this humble nation. So, you will have learned so much, yet felt even more: the pain and legacy

FOUR HOUR SIGHTS AND PINTS TOUR

A perfect set up for those who want to make the most of their time in Dublin by combining sightseeing with a visit to a couple of pubs. If half of your group wants to have a beer and relax, and the other half wants to explore the city, this is the perfect tour for you, as it combines elements of a sightseeing tour with elements of a pub tour. We'll enjoy a 4-hour walking tour, sightseeing for an hour before popping into a pub for 20 - 40 minutes, where you'll learn about Northern Ireland as you sit and enjoy a lovely pint of Irish beer. Satiated and rested, we'll head out into the city and explore more attractions until the thirst takes us again. You sip on your Guinness whilst listening to your guide explain the uniqueness of the beautiful Irish language. And we can continue on again from there, or if it starts to rain, we might stay put and have another! This tour normally includes two pub stops, but you could add more if you'd like. Besides the history lessons, you'll learn about beer, the Irish pub, as well as partake in/witness an activity that the Irish are renowned for – conversation. It's a tour that keeps everyone in a group happy. Those who want to get out and explore the city, as well as those who just want to sit and relax in a pub, will all be satisfied by this balanced tour.
