You’ll meet bodega owners to sample premium wines and gain unique perspectives on less well known Cavas while enjoying exceptional vintage releases. The journey takes place against a backdrop of vibrant landscapes featuring endless rows of vines interspersed with groves of almonds and olives - each area steeped in centuries of rich agricultural heritage dating back to Phoenician settlers. We also explore La Villa de Requena where our guide leads us around its charming streets past landmarks such as the tenth century castle, main square, Moorish cave dwellings and gothic style thirteenth century church remnants of the reconquista period. Our itinerary includes visits to two outstanding local wineries renowned for producing award winning '90 points plus' reds along with long matured classic cavas.
