Nepal Cooking School offers a hands-on culinary experience where travelers discover Nepal through its food. Designed especially for visitors, our cooking classes are fun, interactive, and suitable for everyone—no cooking experience needed. In a relaxed setting, guests learn to prepare a wide variety of authentic Nepali and Himalayan dishes while understanding the culture, spices, and stories behind them. Our main dishes include the traditional Daal Bhat, seasonal vegetable curry, chicken curry, momo, Nepali pizza, bara, thukpa, egg roll, pakoda, and refreshing lassi. For those with a sweet tooth, we also teach carrot pudding, semolina pudding, and our popular chocolate momo. We additionally offer special classes like naan and butter chicken, loved by many travelers. Guests can choose their own menu, making each class personal and enjoyable. Classes last between 1 to 3 hours and are guided by friendly local instructors who explain each step clearly. The experience ends by sitting together and enjoying the delicious meal you’ve cooked. To take the flavors home, guests can easily purchase authentic Nepali spices from our own store. It’s a memorable, tasty, and meaningful way to experience Nepal.
