This is a hands-on Japanese food culture experience that starts with a guided visit to the fresh fish section of Makishi Public Market in Naha, known as the kitchen of Okinawan cuisine. Following the market tour, participants learn how to make sushi from a professional sushi instructor, shape the sushi themselves, and enjoy eating what they’ve created. The instructor provides explanations in English, or an English interpreter will be on hand.
