The ultimate experience for exploring the Sassi di Matera. Walk through the three historic districts (Sasso Caveoso, Sasso Barisano, Civita), accompanied by narration about the history of Matera. In addition to photo opportunities at scenic viewpoints throughout this ancient town, your ticket includes access to these highlights: - A cave home furnished traditionally complete with an audio guide that provides insight into daily life in Matera before the 1950s or '60s; - An underground museum showcasing models of the entire Sassi district ("Sassi in Miniature"); - Two unique rupestrian churches - San Nicola and Madonna delle Virtu'. These are part of the UNESCO World Heritage site and were also featured prominently in Mel Gibson’s film “The Passion of the Christ”. Tour duration: approximately 120 minutes
