Detailed 5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Kande (1,770 m / 5,807 ft) – Trek to Forest Camp (2,550 m / 8,366 ft)
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
After breakfast in Pokhara, drive approximately 1 hour to Kande. The trail ascends through lush rhododendron and oak forests, passing Australian Camp and Pothana. Gradual uphill walking leads to Forest Camp, surrounded by peaceful woodland and fresh mountain air.

Day 2: Forest Camp to High Camp (3,580 m / 11,745 ft)
Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
The trail climbs steadily above the tree line to Low Camp (2,970 m / 9,744 ft) and then continues along a scenic ridge toward High Camp. The vegetation gradually changes from forest to alpine terrain.
Mountain views become dramatic, especially of:

Early morning hike to Mardi Himal Viewpoint, the highest point of the trek. The trail follows a narrow alpine ridge with breathtaking close-up views of Machhapuchhre.
