The moment you take off on the thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m/ 9,383ft) you will enter a world unlike any other. Towering snow-capped peaks, swinging suspension bridges, terraced hillsides and stone-carved mani walls welcome you to the Khumbu Valley. You will also walk through historic mountain villages like Namche Bazaar (3,440m/ 11,286ft), Tengboche (3,867m/ 12,687ft), Dingboche (4,410m/ 14,468ft) and Lobuche (4,910m/ 16,108ft) following the path carved through the heart of Khumbu. Each of these villages offers unique insights into the high-altitude Himalayan lifestyle.
