My foray into Guiding Services. To answer that question, I must take you back to the year 2004 when I joined the Guides Training Program organized by the Government of India (GoI), Ministry of Tourism & Culture. This involved four months of intensive full-time training provided by field experts, historians, architects, and others. It was followed by hands-on training visits to various monuments across western India, including Mumbai. After passing a written examination, I was certified as an approved guide with permission to serve as an Authorized Tour Guide under the GoI’s jurisdiction within the western region of India—comprising cities like Mumbai, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarah, and union territories such as Daman, Diu, and Dadra Nagar Haveli. Additionally, I completed advanced courses offered by the Indian government through its tourism ministry in June 2014 and 2022. As a freelance tourist guide holding a valid ID card issued by the Government of India (# RLG/RD(W)/04/0011), I have guided tourists throughout the past two decades, conducting well over 6,200 tours attended by approximately 35,000 satisfied international visitors hailing from nearly every country worldwide. These services range from onshore excursions aboard cruise ships to daily sightseeing trips tailored specifically for airplane travelers; they cater equally well to both corporate clients seeking professional meetings and relaxation seekers looking forward to their vacation time off. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding state officials, CEOs, celebrities, among other distinguished individuals who visited our city either personally or professionally. From culinary experiences to cultural immersion programs, market exploration to heritage monument appreciation sessions, temple worship rituals to traditional art workshops – sometimes we would organize special events centered around popular movie themes known globally -Bollywood Tours! We accommodate Individual Travelers (FITs) along with small groups ranging from medium sized gatherings right up until large group outings too. Born, raised, educated, nurtured, rooted, grounded here in Mumbai itself makes me truly familiarized with everything about this vibrant metropolis called Bombay...
