The Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Ol Pejeta Safari starts with a journey towards Kenya’s Central Highlands. On arriving at Samburu, we embark on an exciting quest to find the "Samburu Special Five" in their natural habitats. You can expect encounters with the long necked Gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, grevy’s zebra and somali ostrich throughout this picturesque game drive. As our trip along the Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Ol Pejeta Safari route progresses you will frequently see elephant herds making their way across the life giving Ewaso Ng’iro river. We then head further southwards to visit the Ol Pejeta Conservancy where there are notable sanctuaries dedicated to chimps and rhinos within what has been described as East Africa’s premier wildlife conservancy area.
