Woman Made Gallery

Woman Made Gallery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Woman Made Gallery provides exhibition spaces for female and nonbinary artists, which includes transgender females and those who identify with feminine or femaleness within their own unique identities (genderqueer). They are open to welcoming artists both locally, nationally, and internationally. Founded back in 1992, they have showcased over 10,000 works by female and nonbinary artists across 475 exhibits. At present, there are approximately eight shows held each year at its current venue located in the heart of Chicago's vibrant arts district known as University Village. The gallery proudly supports an active artist membership exceeding 350 individuals every calendar year. So far, it has offered numerous art education opportunities such as Professional Development Workshops while also connecting these talented creatives with thousands upon thousands of potential patrons - all made possible thanks to various social gatherings along with effective digital marketing strategies employed throughout time. Furthermore, this esteemed institution actively engages audiences in meaningful dialogues about topics relevant to today's modern woman; empowering participants to better understand societal norms using feminism as guiding principle. Through engaging activities like insightful speaker series featuring renowned figures, thought provoking panels discussing pressing concerns faced globally, captivating spoken word performances celebrating diverse voices among us...and much more! These initiatives foster lively exchanges between attendees encouraging collaboration & mutual understanding amongst fellow enthusiasts sharing common passion towards promoting equality amidst diversity – ultimately creating inclusive environment where everyone feels valued regardless background differences.
