Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda – Kigali City Arrival
Your adventure begins the moment you touch down at Kigali International Airport. A warm smile from your guide greets you upon arrival, followed by a comfortable transfer to your hotel in the heart of the capital.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome briefing about your upcoming gorilla trekking adventure; a chance to get to know your guide, fellow travelers, and the exciting journey ahead. Relax and enjoy your dinner at leisure as you soak in the serene atmosphere of Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali Cultural Discovery & Journey to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, your day begins with a guided exploration of Kigali; one of Africa’s cleanest and most dynamic cities. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful and deeply moving site honoring the victims of 1994 and celebrating Rwanda’s resilience. Savor a delicious Rwandan-inspired lunch in Kigali, a favorite spot known for its panoramic views and creative local cuisine.
This afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills and charming villages toward Volcanoes National Park. As the mist-covered peaks of the Virunga Mountains come into view, you’ll feel the anticipation build for tomorrow’s adventure. Arrive at your elegant lodge, nestled in the tranquil foothills of the park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter & Departure
Rise early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing at 7:00 AM. You’ll then set off on your guided trek through lush rainforest, bamboo thickets, and volcanic slopes in search of the majestic mountain gorillas.
When you finally meet them; silverbacks watching over playful youngsters, mothers cradling their babies time seems to stand still. Spending one magical hour with these gentle giants is an emotional and unforgettable experience that connects you deeply to nature.
After your trek, return to the lodge for lunch and freshening up. Later, you’ll drive back to Kigali, where your guide will escort you to the airport for your outbound flight, taking with you a lifetime of memories from the heart of Rwanda.
