Visit Bender Fortress dating back to the 16th century, originally constructed by the Moldavian ruler Stephen the Great as part of the defensive line along the Dniester River. In 1538, when the city was incorporated into the Ottoman Empire, Sultan Soliman the Magnificent had the fortresses reconstructed using stones and rechristened the town as Bender. Today, visitors may view the museums within the fortifications, including chambers used for torturing prisoners and various preserved structures. We will also examine examples of socialist architectural styles found around Bender such as; Tighina military cemetery, railway station bendery ,Gorki Cinema House, Local mosaics . Have Lunch either at a typical Russian style eatery/bistro located in Tiraspol alternatively there would be possibility of having our meal arranged inside casa karaman –a Museum dedicated towards showcasing moldovian cultural heritage & tradition cuisine here one could opt for attending cooking class too.. Travel onwards toward tiraspol currently serving because capitalistic hub amidst breakaway republic transdniester(moldova) experience firsthand essence residing with contested territories often being battleground amongst regional superpowers past times gone forever yet its legacy remains alive through soviets styled edifices suvorov memorial central market etc...Tiraspol appears just like frozen snapshot taken right out straight outta cold war period statues lenin communist emblems all over place everywhere so definitely worth visiting especially those who have keen interest learning more regarding historical aspects remaining relics former union republics ...
